About Casanova

What's His Story?

Casanova Couto was born and raised in Westport, Massachusetts. His grandparents immigrated to the U.S. from the Azores of Portugal, along with his parents when they were children. Being from a big Portuguese family is an important part of his identity as he enjoys family gatherings with his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Since he was young, he continuously wrote a variety of fictional stories inspired by the science fiction and fantasy genres of both books and movies. It was always his dream to publish a story at an epic scale, filled with wonder and adventure. Casanova also enjoys drawing, especially superheroes.

Before his dream of publishing an epic fantasy came true, he followed other dreams. After high school, Casanova earned his degree in elementary education and later earned a graduate degree in teaching English as a second language. He taught for several years in his home city before becoming a Literacy & Language coach and later a building level administrator. He continues to be a leader and advocate for multilingual students within Massachusetts.

Currently, he is a district level educational administrator and continues to work on the second book in “The Majestic Empire” series.
